Cookie notice

Last updated: 30 August 2026

EduNect uses cookies and similar technologies to help the website work securely and effectively. Some are necessary for the website to function. Other cookies may be used for optional purposes such as analytics or marketing, where applicable.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can help websites remember information, keep you signed in and operate securely. EduNect may also use similar technologies, including certain browser storage technologies.

Cookies we use

We only use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the operation of EduNect or that you have agreed to where consent is required. Our current production audit found that EduNect sets no browser cookies of its own. The technologies below are browser storage entries used by the site.

Essential cookies and storage

sb-<project>-auth-token (browser localStorage)

Provider: Supabase (authentication provider used by EduNect)

Stores your signed-in session so you stay logged in and can reach your dashboard securely. Only present after you sign in.

Essential. Contains your session token, which relates to you as an account holder. · Until you sign out, or the session expires and is not refreshed

edunect-cookie-choice (browser localStorage)

Provider: EduNect

Records that you have seen and dismissed this cookie notice, so it stops appearing.

Essential. Does not contain personal information. · Until you clear your browser storage or choose to show the banner again

tsr-scroll-restoration-v1 (browser sessionStorage)

Provider: EduNect (TanStack Router, the site's page navigation library)

Remembers your scroll position so pages return to the right place when you go back. Stores page positions only.

Essential to core site functionality. Does not contain personal information. · Cleared when you close the browser tab

These technologies are necessary for functions such as authentication, security, maintaining your session and providing core website functionality.

EduNect also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers when a page loads. This does not set cookies or browser storage on the EduNect site.

Analytics cookies

EduNect does not currently use optional analytics cookies.

Marketing/advertising cookies

EduNect does not currently use marketing or advertising cookies.

Your choices

Essential cookies and technologies required for the secure operation of EduNect cannot be disabled through our optional cookie controls, because the website may not function correctly without them.

Where EduNect uses optional analytics or marketing technologies that require consent, we will ask for your permission before those technologies are activated. You can change or withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time through cookie settings below.

Browser settings

You can also manage or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking some of them may affect the functionality of the website, particularly where they are required for authentication or security.

Changes to this notice

We may update this cookie notice when the technologies used by EduNect change. If we introduce new analytics, advertising or marketing technologies, we will update this notice and implement any consent mechanism required before optional tracking technologies are activated.
